Denielle and Christopher, along with friends and family all the way from South Africa, enjoyed a whole week of wedding celebration bliss at the picturesque Montestigliano farm, situated on one of the many beautiful Tuscan hills, close to Siena. Lazy summer days at the pool or exploring nearby towns was on the “to do list” of everyday. Late summer days, Prosecco and Aperol spritz in order for every sunset, and big shared plates of home made Italian dishes, or a good old South African braai every other day. Late nights spent with old and new friends, and early mornings drinking fresh coffee whilst planning the day ahead.

My favorite things about this unforgettable wedding day was Denielle’s wedding gown and her bridesmaid’s dresses, made by Suné Snyman Design. Denielle and her bridesmaid’s jewellery. All the guests dressed up all fancy in black. When Christopher saw Denielle walking down the aisle. The intimate ceremony amongst the olive groves. Dinner el-fresco between the old walls of the Montestigliano farm buildings, perfectly lit with the full moon, bistro lights and lots of candles. Freshly made and baked pizza for mains, paired with local Italian wine. The most delicious Tiramisu for dessert. Johannes van Greunen & Francois Scholtz from Botanicus’ floral creations – flowers and foliage foraged from the surrounds and treated in white. Inge’s designs for the wedding invitations and the stationery for the reception. Being able to capture this dreamy day amongst good friends and Pierre by my side.
